Inspired by a car culture true to the streets, Harley-Davidson’s creative team took notice of the power, presence and creativity of the lowrider community. And being that Lowrider Magazine dominates the scene and is the recognized voice of the community, they took it upon themselves to drop off a 2006 Harley-Davidson Deluxe for us to customize. They wanted us to instill all of the values, creativity and art of lowriding into this already phenomenal piece of art and our hands-on approach to building it will no doubt involve some of the greatest builders and painters in the industry.

For starters, Alex “Levi” Reyes of Liquid Blueprints has been chosen to lay on an old school flake patterned paint job in black and silver. The use of paint from House of Kolor’s new line of ghost pearls, flakes and clears will help maintain that classic “wet look” and Levi also has some new techniques that he’s ready to unveil on the bike. Aside from that, the bike will go through a series of changes which include a set of Hi-Low air-ride components furnished by Bike Buddy Pros. A full list of mods and participants will also be listed at the end of the build.

In celebration of LRM’s 30-year anniversary, check out the 2006 Deluxe in full dress at the Harley-Davidson booth at an upcoming 2007 Lowrider Tour stop or visit your local Harley-Davidson dealer and see what they have to offer.
