Perris Lake, California, was the place to be this past March if you wanted to show and shine your ride, hear cutting-edge music, buy the latest apparel or check out the Inland Empire’s hottest babes. The weather couldn’t have been better for some of Southern California’s best rides, including imports, bagged SUVs, custom lowriders, gargantuan 4×4 Humvees. And then there was the hot babes. The eye candy was more than the average mortal could handle. Somehow they did. Forbidden Fantasy’s Sixth Annual Show and Shine had it all.
Located just off the 215 Freeway, the sleepy little town of Perris was awaken by the sights and sounds of some of California’s trickest creations rolling through the streets. But the town was not caught completely unaware, as this is the Sixth Annual show brought to you by Forbidden Fantasy Car Club. This show grows bigger every year with more sponsors, vehicles and vendor booths. Rob from MIC (Master Image Customs) came down from Anaheim, California, to not only show his latest car creations but his new line of street wear.
Cool Cat collectibles from Temecula, California, was also on hand to cure your die-cast cravings with the latest cars from the Lowrider and Dub series. For all of your hydraulic, airbag and custom fabrication needs, Art Tuason and crew from Hoppos Hydraulics were on hand with the latest tricks and expert tech information for any suspension application. Many more vendors throughout the fairgrounds were offering clothing, automotive parts, tattoos and piercings to the Southern Cali crowd.
As the day grew so did the sounds of alternative rock from bands like Rukus, Common Wealth, Ill Intent and others. No self-respecting car show would be without the infamous bikini contest. The last event of the day was what the crowd was waiting for. Some of the Southern Cal’s finest turned up to wow the fans. Tricked-out cars, trucks, food, and girls were all on the menu for the Sixth Annual Forbidden Fantasy Show and Shine. We’ll see you next year at the Seventh Annual affair.
