As a dedicated Nokturnal member since 2006, Mike Munoz is proudly representing his club with this 2002 Cadillac Escalade. Before joining the club, Mike spent a good deal of time attending car shows and these universal meeting grounds paved the way for his friendship with a number of club members. “I was friends with a lot of the guys from Nokturnal, so I guess it was inevitable that I would one day join them,” explains Mike. His first ride in the club was also his first-ever show car. The experience only fueled his desire to outdo the initial build. Mike didn’t have to go far for his next build, as he already had the Escalade.

“When I bought my Escalade, I wasn’t planning on fixing it up,” says the Monrovia, CA resident. “The only plans I had for it was to haul my show car around.” While his previous project had a chrome undercarriage, he still found himself compelled to work on the Escalade instead. “I had added a nice system to the Escalade, that way it would be a nice weekend car, but things just started growing from there.” As an enthusiast on the car show scene, Mike had a leg up on the competition in terms of knowing how to make his build unique. This served him well as he has created this latest build in his own style with plans to also add patterns to the Caddy’s exterior and chrome-out the truck’s undercarriage.

He would like to thank Roberto Pinto, Zacatecas, his fellow LA council members and everyone from his club that helped him out in the project.
