Wil Brannock has been a long-time lowrider and Uce C.C. member, going on for more than a decade now. He started out with Uce back in Silverdale, Washington, where he was recruited by Steve Cates. He has stayed true to his car club and the lowriding game ever since and has never looked back. Wil later moved back to his home state of Florida, and with his move, he brought the Uce C.C. name to Central Florida. This 31-year-old forklift mechanic has a lot of interests, which include online lowrider forums and NASCAR, but none of those hobbies top his love for cruising in his [cars name=”Cutlass”].
All of the hydraulic work on the ’83 Olds was done by the owner himself. Wil dropped in three Red’s pumps and three Italian dumps. He also installed in his own Rockford Fosgate and Pioneer stereo system. Wanting his Cutty to be ahead of the rest, Wil knew that chrome was the answer for his ride. Eddie over at Exotic Chrome in Kissimmee, Florida, handled all of the chrome dipping of the suspension and engine parts.
The next step was to get an eye-popping paint scheme laid out. Florida is known for its sunshine, so the best way to grab attention in the sun is to add lots and lots of flakes. That’s exactly what Uce C.C.-Orlando chapter vice president Steve did, spraying Wil’s vehicle all white with tan patterns and gold flakes. A more modern look was needed to spice up the ride so an ’87 Euro clip was bolted on in place of the original 22-year-old front clip.
After the custom tan and white interior was put in by Watson’s Upholstery right there in Sanford, Florida, it was time for Wil to take his new ride out on the streets. The time and money spent (more than $10,000 over three years) was nothing to a long-time rider like Wil. He knows that it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be a lowrider and a member of a club like Uce, but the value of the pride that you get from doing it is priceless.

Engine: Stock 3.8-liter with painted and chromed-out parts. The underside of the hood was also shaved.Body/Paint: An ’87 Euro clip was bolted on in place of the original 22-year-old nose to freshen things up. Uce C.C. Orlando chapter vice president Steve painted the Cutlass with custom white pearl and added plenty of gold flake to make it shine. Tan patterns were then placed down the sides as well as the hood and trunk.
Interior: New pillow seats were stitched up with tan and white vinyl by Watson’s Upholstery in Sanford.
Sound System: Wil got down on his own stereo, adding a Rockford Fosgate amp to the Pioneer setup that makes the people on the road feel like a hurricane just broke land.
Setup: Keeping the work home-based again, Wil dropped in the three Red’s Hydraulics pumps himself with three Italian dumps to control the flow and eight batteries to provide the “juice.”
