Everywhere I look all I see is shiny, gleaming chrome. Lowrider car shows are certainly eye catchy.
Out front of the grandstand there is a crowd gathering. Being inquisitive I have to go and have a look. There is a lowrider car out in an open area. There are power cables running out of it and they go to a man standing away from it. He has a control panel in his hands.
As he works buttons the vehicle responds. This lowrider is acting like a bucking bronco. Its tires are like feet. It is almost as if the lowrider car is alive. It jumps and rolls to either side, almost balancing on one wheel.
There is a bang as it lands on its side. The operator rushes away as the lowrider car rolls toward him. Some people come from no-where and roll it back on its feet. It is then pushed out of sight; next!
This one is smaller. It is none other than a lowrider model car. It is much smaller than the previous entertainment but manages to pull off identical moves. It and its owner thrill the crowd. And guess what; when he’s finished, the owner picks up lowrider model car and vacates the circle.
As with all other meetings of this nature there are lowrider cars for sale. Some have hefty price tags while some are reasonably priced. Don’t be in too much of a hurry to get out the plastic. These guys like to haggle.
