Lowrider Hydraulic Cars
The first hydraulics placed on a lowrider hydraulic car came from an aeroplane. Originally they were used to work the flaps on an aircraft’s wing when it takes off and lands. I don’t know who discovered this but top marks to you.
The Impala was the first lowrider car to get such equipment. As other enthusiasts got involved different makes and models got experimented with. Cadillac’s are another favorite, as are Vauxhalls, Zodiacs and even a Morris Minor.
The lowrider hydraulic car will always put in an appearance at a lowrider car show. It is where the crowds are and where the vehicle can be used to its full advantage. Its rocking sensation is a definite crowd pleaser.
Lowrider models are getting in on the act as well. It seems that anything the big car can do models can do it better. Why is this? Well the safety factor is one reason. With all that rocking around something has got to give.
Now whether the operator’s mind goes blank or all that rocking has a soothing effect is unknown. But sometimes the lowrider car gets out of control. So what happens; the lowrider car rolls on its side and it’s all over.
Try that with a model…you just pick it up and start again. The damage is minimal. If and when the model lowrider car goes on its side no one is going to get hurt.
Lowrider bikes have hydraulics too. They can be dangerous but not like an Impala going on its side. The bike, like the model can easily be put back on its feet. While all this rocking is going on lowrider rims are spinning their hearts out making noise and reflections.
Crowds are hanging around for entertainment and believe you me they are not going to be disappointed. Lowrider car shows are good places to bring the family. There’s bound to be one near you soon. Why not go on line and check it out. You might even find a nice little Impala to start you off. Look for the 1964 model as this is the one to be seen in.
