Thus far, we’ve put you through the paces with this 283-c.i.d. engine block. What started out as a simple “refreshing” of the engine turned into a full rebuild. We tore down the block, machined it to like-new condition, and reassembled the engine to its proper running order. Now that the guts are ready to rock, we can doll it up and put the lowrider twist on it.In recent years, more aftermarket parts manufacturers have started listening to custom car builders and have begun putting out some of the most beautiful chrome and custom-polished accessories that we’ve seen.
