I remember the first time you looked into my eyes,
You said: "One day.. You will be mine"
I remember laughing and saying dream on,
And now look and see what we've become.
We're more than just friends..
But we're certainly not lovers.
We’ll always share those moments
When the sunlight came to it’s end,
I still don’t know how I ended up under your covers.
I consciously was somewhere else I’m sorry to say,
I didn’t want you to think that it meant…
That I had any feelings for you
I just was so confused
I can’t believe what I’m going to say.. but it’s true
I used you in the most terrible way.
I used you as an escape
I used you to forget
I used you to get a taste..
I used you I will confess
But darling know that I have no regret.
If there’s anything that you’ve have taught me
It’s that no matter what the situation
You’ll always be there to be a friend.
You were there when my world was coming to its end
You didn’t tell me “Call someone else”
You listened to everything that I had to say
And still helped me see the right way
‘till this day you’re still there
To be a friend before a man,
You always help me through every tribulation
And you advise me in every frustration..
You are a friend before anything else,
For that I am thankful.
I know I can depend on you when others wont.
You’re the first that comes to mind when a conflict begins..
You are the last voice I hear every night before I sleep..
Darling..you are the sweetest friend..to me =]

gives the illusion that your going through flash backs of what happened and coming back to the present at the end..good work
