As I wake to another morning,alone without her in my arms,everyday is like this.Soon I'll have my angel in my arms,I just pray she will accept this demon.
God what have I done to make you hate me? I pray every morning as I lay there alone,longing for her in my arms.
I look at the void within my arms where she should be,a single stray tear escapes my eye,why does god like to see me alone?
I know I'm not perfect,but who is besides god himself? Would he consider himself perfect? Does he like to see me in pain?

So I rise to drag through another day,the longing hope that I'd be comin home to her lingers in my mind.
Her sweet voice trailing through my mind,her beautiful face leaves a certain smile on my face.
People ask why such the long distance between us,I dont dare give them the answer its because I screwed up and shouldnt of made that choice.
A wise man once told me if you love somethin let it go,if it comes back to you its meant to be,I let her go and she came back.
But at what cost? Am I willing to turn on my own family? To leave them in my past for love?
Thoughts like such make me wish my grandma was here,she always knew just what to say to make it all make sense.

Coming home to her not there,another small heartbreak,while a voice in my mind tells me be patient it will be soon enough.
A voice so familiar I know that voice,its the same angel that saved me in that wreck,the same voice that saved me when I was born.
Is it true,god gave my grandma angel wings to watch over me? He watched as she was the one that truly seen my inner persana and told me to allow it to shine.
She gave me the pen n pad tellin me to express myself as a teen,knowing that I was better expressed unspoken.
When sitting with her she would watch the feat melt from my eyes,see the comfort in safety that grew within.

She knows what god has in plan for me. Now if only she could share the plan.
So I take another day as knowing that things will work out. While a certain worry that has been with me my entire life continues.
Will I be alone for all of my life? Am I being punished for something I know not what I did?
Why was I chosen to feel this pain?

So I tip another bottle up and pull myself into a stupor,a place where its impossible to feel pain,praying my angel isnt doing the same.
She knows she is my everything,my reason to clean up my life,I take my pain with pride now,I know I must endure to achieve.
