Fresno Classics Car Club is one of the longest lasting clubs in Fresno, CA. It was established by John Flores Jr. and friends back in 1989. The club originally was made up of impala and caprice cars from the 70’s. In the mid 90’s the club opened up to all makes and models of cars.
The club was handed down by the president, John Flores, to his son, Anthony Flores, in the mid 2000’s. Currently active in the club are 9 members, their spouses, and their families: Joe and Genevieve Ramirez, John and Geneva Flores, Anthony and Anna Flores, Ruben and Meagan Gonzalez, Rick and Debbie Jenkins, Matthew Rivas, Peter Rivas, Armando Gonzales and Claudia Alvarez, Ernie Ramirez and Luz Maria Gutierrez.
The club has participated in many community events such as parades, community clean ups, sponsored benefit car shows for other non profit community organizations, and Toys for Tots, Remaining events to participate in include their Thanksgiving food drive and Christmas toy drive, along with other community events.
For their 25th anniversary, Fresno Classics C.C. hosted a car show at Malaga Park in Fresno, CA. The car show which included dj’s, vendors, food, raffles, trophies, and of course cars, The event was a success. The club would like to thank all their sponsors and everyone that showed up to the Car show.
